Lilliam Baez Pulver

Lilliam is an architect, of Dominican nationality with experience in various areas related to art. She worked for several years as a project designer for tourist developments, which later transitioned into interior design, designing wooden furniture for residential projects. In addition to this, she worked for 7 years in the makeup industry, where she specialized in special effects makeup and body painting.

Today she sees how these three fronts gave her a good base to start what is now Tropico Studio. Her architectural design gave her a good understanding of composition, shapes, and scale management, designing wood furniture helped her to see objects in an exploded view and special effects makeup gave her the knowledge to sculpt, create molds, and turn an idea into a physical product. Despite her experience and her academic profession, Lilliam says that the most important thing that should never be lacking in a creative is curiosity and passion to try.
