Appreciate how short and easy to digest the lessons and videos, how focused it is on journaling instead of fancy drawing. Love how the teacher draw simple drawings can keep mentioning to us don't be too precious, don't worry, and the way how the teacher just draws on it without any fears. The lesson reframes my mind on art, it was never meant to be perfect.

A truly inspiring course, both in terms of methods and techniques learned, but also in regard to set a new way of looking, and thinking about my everyday life. I have returned several time to some of the lessons, also after having finished the course.

An easy to follow course and the instructor breaks the material down in a way that allows you to determine the pace of learning

I reccommend this course. It is very easy to follow and the teacher gives a kind of discipline to follow every day to practice drawing as a kind of meditation. I found it very useful and think I'll be using it. Plus, she has a wonderful style!

Although I value the Domestika courses that are really in depth, I must say that it has been refreshing to do a shorter course. Kate is a very warm, generous, encouraging, inspirational teacher that has shown me how to loosen up, spend less time and still get results that were both fun to do and artistically satisfying. I would highly recommend her course.

Kate's course got me back to a sketching habit that I had lost, and inspired me to use art materials I've hoarded but never used. I've been sketching daily since completion - exactly what I hoped to gain from the course!
Although not mentioned in required materials, this course also shows how to digitize and clean up sketches in Procreate and Photoshop. While useful information, I wasn't able to complete these assignments - I'll come back when I have better access to digital tools.
