Sarah is an excellent instructor! Her course is easy to follow and with great exercises. I warmly recommend the course if you are interested in trying out and learning about working with charcoal.

Sarah is an excellent instructor—patient, knowledgeable, and dedicated to teaching us more than just the basics of charcoal. Before taking this course, I only knew a little about this medium. Now, I’ve developed a real appreciation for it and feel inspired to continue learning and exploring charcoal art further!

While I had been attending an in-person course for a little over a year, there are several aspects of this course I found deeply useful. The course is detailed and easy to follow and understand, well worth the watch.

I drew from a negative photo. Scary but despite doing things a bit backwards, thanks to Sarah's incredible method of teaching (methodical, encouraging and experimental), I was able to finish the portrait and am thrilled with the results!

A fantastic course to step into the wonderful world of charcoal. Great exercises, clear explanations, and even though it feels like a course for beginners, we were exposed to many techniques. I particularly liked the exploration of Sarah's favourite artists' works - lots of inspiration to be found.

Um dos melhores cursos que fiz na Domestika! A professora tem uma didática que atinge desde os já iniciados no desenho e na técnica com carvão, como aqueles que estão dando seus primeiros passos. Além da Sarah passar por tópicos que são importantes não apenas para quem quer desenhar com carvão, mas servirá para o grafite, também. E, seu conteúdo dará autonomia suficiente para retratar não só humanos, mas animais e, até mesmo paisagens. Recomendo fortemente!
