Cynthia Irani

Hi! My name is Cynthia Irani, and I am a product designer and botanical cake artist.
My work has been featured in publications such as Cake Masters Magazine, Green Wedding Shoes, and 100 Layer Cake. I also share and sell my creations through my website and on Instagram @cynthiairanidesign.

As a Product Designer by trade, I have worked in tech for over 15 years across multiple industries. My career includes working in gaming, advertising, telemedicine, maritime and e-commerce with prestigious companies such as DigiPen Institute of Technology, Saatchi & Saatchi, Yellow Pages Canada and Shopify. Currently working in ABM with Rollworks.

My cake design journey:
A few years ago, I have combined my love for the fine arts, cakes and botanicals by portraying my signature free-flowing petals and exploring new mediums along the way. It started at my daughter's birthday event. I got a lot of praise on the cake I designed. Everyone started encouraging me to share my hobby with the world and making it a “side business”. I finally decided to launch my Instagram account, originally "cynzcakes" back in March 2017. I find myself today with an international following of over 100K loyal fans across the globe.
