Graphic Designer
I studied graphic design. I like the world that surrounds design, and enjoy being in touch with the latest news and trends on decoration and architecture.
During my last year of studies I started an apprenticeship as a graphic designer in Enprensa Comunicació. I was later hired full-time to do photographic retouching for gadgets’ catalogues, packaging design and also the publicity for Music Distribution Company, in Spain.
My last job was also as designer in a small company, for almost one year and a half, as the sole member in the Graphic Department. My tasks were quite diverse, part in designing and part administrative: the company created some products, one of which I was in charge. I received customers’ orders (quantities, colour, logo and design), customized the product with the image or logo desired, sent the order to the manufacturing company, and followed up on the product to ensure the final result would satisfy the customer. I also did design tasks for the rest of the products, customizing them, designing their logos and slogans and designing inlays and displays. These were all manufactured in China, and in the final stage I was in charge of quality control and improvement, mostly via Skype communications.
