Book Object representative of Dorothea Lange. “Influential documentary photojournalist”.

Concept: The humanists photographs of Lange about the terrible consequences of the great depression were studied deeply. Lange changed the study photo for the street. Their studies of unemployed and homeless captured soon the attention of local photographers and led it to be contracted by the federal administration, later called “Administration for the Farm Security”. The esthetic of the project was based on a good choice of materials, the cork, a crumpled paper and the stains and abrasions witnesses to the passage of time have brought us closer to life that transmit her images.

Client: University Project for ESDIR. (College of Design in La Rioja).

Concepto: Se estudiaron minuciosamente las fotografías humanistas de Lange sobre las terribles consecuencias de la Gran Depresión. Lange tornó la lente de su cámara de su estudio, por la de la calle. Sus estudios de desempleados y gente sin hogar capturaron pronto la atención de fotógrafos locales y la llevaron a ser contratada por la administración federal, posteriormente llamada “Administración para la Seguridad Agraria”. La estética del proyecto se basó en una buena elección de los materiales, el corcho, una papel arrugado y las manchas y rozaduras testigos del paso del tiempo nos acercan a la vida que transmiten sus imágenes.
